this is a shawl I started on in March. It is coming along slowly but surely. You can see Georgie down there by my feet.

I have in the last year and 3 months, lost 56 lbs. I feel amazing. I feel better at 53 than I did in my 40's. I have so much energy now and so much more self esteem. I would like to lose another 25 , but if I dont, I have happy where I am in life.

This is my baby Georgie. we adopted him last November . He will be 1 year old in September this year.  He is a snuggle bug.  Blessed to have him

I learned somewhat how to knit last year in January. I am still just knitting away. This is a cowl I made a dear coworker , Charlotte. I loved the shades of green in this.

we had a fun day celebrating our dear friend Louise today.  Left to right, Kimberly,Betsy and Louise.  Louise's birthday isnt till the 15th but we wanted to celebrate her early.  Happy Birthday Louise, we love you

uhoh a new start

some online friends enabled me to start And A Forest Grew. I couldnt help myself. I just started yesterday. I don't have all the dmc threads required and there are 102 of them.I am getting some here and there as I need for the page I am doing at the time.  I am doing it on lugana 28 ct over 2 threads and using one strand of dmc floss as mentioned by the designer to have a more delicate look to the design. I hope you will check back often to see my forest grow. Thanks as always for visiting.Kimberly

My buddy Jacob. It is hard to believe he will be 16 this September. He is still so alert and fun. I was doing my hair and looked down at him staring at me intently. I love this little guy.
