uhoh a new start

some online friends enabled me to start And A Forest Grew. I couldnt help myself. I just started yesterday. I don't have all the dmc threads required and there are 102 of them.I am getting some here and there as I need for the page I am doing at the time.  I am doing it on lugana 28 ct over 2 threads and using one strand of dmc floss as mentioned by the designer to have a more delicate look to the design. I hope you will check back often to see my forest grow. Thanks as always for visiting.Kimberly

My buddy Jacob. It is hard to believe he will be 16 this September. He is still so alert and fun. I was doing my hair and looked down at him staring at me intently. I love this little guy.

More finsishes

I made this for my husband to go in his man cave . It was a joy to stitch.  It is by Mt Big Toe Designs

This was a freebie by Sleightenholm Folk Art . It stitched up really fast. I added the cross myself to make it mine.

I started this scarf in march this year while visiting my mother in Va. I had a nice and quiet visit there.  She had some yarn that she didnt have enough of to do anything big with it so she gave it to me and I made a quick scarf.

My first finish for 2020

Black bird designs" Dear Friend". I stitched this for my sweet friend Judi.  Excuse the ring on the left side. I need to iron it , put it on foamcore and frame it still. I was just so happy to have a new finish. Thanks for looking.  I didn't have all the called for colors, so I improvised. I plan on stitching this again for a few other special ladies in my life.
