My friend Cheryl sent this to me and it was too cute not to stitch. I started and finished today.  I will make it in to a pillow and either start a basket of smalls or just place it somewhere in my room.lol. I hope you like it.

Welcome September... I have missed you

I love the month of September for many reasons. My 22nd Anniversary is September 17th.  I love the changing colors on the trees and cooler weather as well. I am on a message board and we are beginning a new pattern as a stitch a long. I am doing  the Autumn. freebie by The Stitcherhood.  I will start that one later today or tomorrow. I plan to finish up "Be Strong " today and then to start 2 new ones. Isn't that the way it is supposed to work?You finish one and that  frees up the guilt to start 2 new ones.lol. I got Miss Peepers and Simplicity by LHN that I want to start as well as one by Bent Creek it is called"Let your light shine" it is a quaker type piece. Looking forward to all 3. I also have that darn Eagle's view to stitch for my hubby. I want to have ti done by April for his big 45th Birthday.  I guess I better get to stitching faster then , huh?lol. What I am up to

I started reading a book titled Leaving by Karen Kingsbury. I have had the book for 6 months or  more on my Nook and just never took the time to start reading it. I have so many others on there that I want to read. Anyway, I started it yesterday and I am finding it hard to put it down.  I plan on doing some reading this morning and then stitching from 11:30 a.m. till 1:00 pm today. I have to work this afternoon from 2:00 Pm till 9:00 today.  I hope all m y readers are doing well. Thanks for reading my blog,Kimberly

I had a great time at church today. Another awesome sermon today. I then came home and had lunch and stitched alot. I wound lots of floss too,which was a pain in the booty. I just joined a stitching group for Sandy Hook. Stumbled upon it actually. I realized they are still in need of squares for quilts. I found some cute freebies to stitch on there, so I shall start one today. I will post a picture later today. I am off to get ready for church now, but will be on again later. Best of intentions

I had intended on stitching all day today but that wasn't possible. I had too much to do around the house. I vacuumed,mowed,washed clothes and dishes etc. I managed to stitch 60 x's tonight though. Not much to show , so won't bother uploading a picture. Tomorrow is Sunday so after church tomorrow, I will stitch till bedtime  without guilt.GUARANTEED.   I hope everyone has a blessed night and a wonderful Sunday tomorrow. Good night.

Never got any stitching time in yesterday and this is why

I made the mistake of looking for some lost leaflets and I made a huge mess in my hobby room. I straightened it all up and this is what it looks like in my closet now. I am quite pleased. I will be able to find things better now. Thanks for looking,Kimberly

Good Morning

I had such  a relaxing day yesterday. I stitched half the day and then went fishing with my man. I caught 9 small bluegill.  When we got home I watched a horrible movie called Evil Dead.yucky`!!!!
I plan on stitching more today on the Eagles View . I really want to stitch more of the mountain and I want to finish up page 1. There are 6 pages in all.  Seems like a lot, but I am making this for my hubby , so it will be worth it.  I have so many more kits on my wish list to purchase and stitch. I know that when I finish this one for him, I will be free to buy all I want.heheheheh.  I will put up a new wip picture this evening. I hope you have a blessed day. Kimberly

On vacation this week.

I am off work this week. I have been stitching on "Happiness is having friends ".This is a Dimensions kit. This is what I have done so far. I am about to go stitch on something else for a while. Just not sure what yet. I am getting bored of this one for now.

I pulled this out and worked on it tonight while watching Lost with the family. I hope to get more stitching time in over the next week. I am on vacation for the next 8 days. I am looking forward to spending time with my son Matthew before he goes off to college and spending time with my daughter before she starts high school . I started this little angel yesterday

I think I paid $2.00 for this kit last year at Christmas time.  I think i will stitch several in different colors and give them away as ornaments or just little pictures framed to people needing a little pick me up. While playing in my stash room today

I went looking for a book of "All of Yesterdays" book.  I am looking for some cute patterns to do for charity quilts. I was searching high and low for that darn book and I never did find it. I did however find some old ufo's in my closet and I pulled them out to work on. Here is one of them. Mad blue bird. I love him and I hope i finish him someday soon. Thanks for looking.

Getting that new start feeling

I am wanting to start something new.lol. I am trying really really hard to finish "be strong" but I want to play in my Little House Needleworks patterns too.lol. I will try try and try some more to behave. I also have a  kit called"Happiness is having friends" and I want to get back  to it also. There are too many options, it is starting to make me misbehave.

Whoa what a crazy and awful weekend I had

On Saturday evening. I was on my way to Walmart with my daughter. I was making a left turn on a green light(arrow for me) and a man ran a red light and plowed in to my vehicle.  I have extensive damage to my car. I am just so thankful my daughter and I are safe. If I had been driving slower, he would have hit my door and possibly killed me.God definitely had his angels surrounding me on Saturday night. I don't yet know if my vehicle can be fixed or if it will be considered a total loss. I will let you know when I know more. Take care and never take a life lightly. We never know when it will happen.

Stitching this morning

So Happy

I am no longer working 2 jobs. I am only working at an assisted living facility for seniors now.  I will have more time for blogging and stitching in the mornings before work.  For the past 7 years I have been working 2 jobs. I had been working Mon-thru Fri as a teacher to toddlers and every other weekend at an assisted living facility. I felt God telling me that it was time to quit the rat race of working 2 jobs and juggling a family, hobbies,church etc.  I was always so worn out that I never had the energy for the things I enjoyed anymore.  I prayed about it and waited to see what happens. I am now working Monday thru Friday at Stones River Manor Assisted living from 2pm till 9 pm and off weekends and no longer working with the children. I feel so much better now. I feel like my brain is less scattered and I can enjoy life again. yay.  So, be on  the look out for more blogging from me in the future. I am off to stitch now and will update soon. I got this pattern from a face book friend and decided to start on it tonight while at my daughter's school waiting on graduation to begin. It will be done in no time. Looking forward

I am looking forward to more stitching time here soon. I will try to post more often too. I have one more Thursday night class and then I will be done with school this semester.  I will be taking the summer off and that will free my time up for stitching a lot.
