I have been working on Sudden Showers by Elsa Williams/JCA but I am having issues posting from my phone to blog  spot, so I will have to either take it off my stretcher bars and scan it in or else take a picture with my camera and update it that way. I will try to do that this weekend.  I hope all my stitching buddies are getting lots of stitching in. I have been so busy with work,family,birthdays,Mother's Day and just life in general that I haven
t had my much stitching time lately which is a bummer.  Maybe I will soon.

Faith Hope and Love by Midnight Stitching

Finally I am done with this, I will never stitch this one again!!  I don't know what my problem was,but when I got to Faith, I ripped more than I stitched.lol

A new pattern calling my name

I just got the new Stoney Creek Magazine for June and I really am anxious to start "Bloom where you are planted"  I looks to be an easy stitch.It looks like rocks all stitched together with a flower trying to come out from under them.Really neat looking and the pic of the lighthouse keeper looks awesome too. I am currently collecting my necessary threads and fabric to start these two beautiful patterns. What are you getting ready to stitch from a mag soon?

My First ever Mother's Day card

I posted my stitching finish on here b4, but not the actual card I made. I hope you like it, it was my first and probably last attempt of making a home made card.lol.It was a major hassle for me.lol

I dont know what it is about this picture, but it gave me the biggest struggle and headache in stitching.  I dont know if it is the fabric being uncooperative or if my eyes are just tired these days. I'm glad to have this finished finally. I am going to put it on cardstock and make it a Mothers Day Card for my mom.  I havent stitched anything for her in the last 2 yrs or so, she should love it. WEll today I'm old

Well today is December 22nd.40 yrs ago today I was born in Tampa Fl.  It is still hard to believe I have hit 40 already.lol. I feel like a kid still in alot of ways,although my body feels its age some days believe me.lol.
I have been stitching lastnight on "Always and Forever" by Lhn and on Fa La La by Lhn. I hope to finish both up today time permitting.  I plan on spoiling myself with stitching time today when I get home from having breakfast with a friend.  I hope my stitching friends out there in cyberland are getting lots stitched as well. My friends at work had a surprise party for me on Thursday this week.My official birthday is December 22 and we are out of work from now till January 5th,so they decided to throw me a party while we were still working. I got a cute pic to share of me in my silly hat.

LHN Reading finally finished

Well, I finally have a good stitching story.lol. After all my recent mishaps stitching lately, I have a good ending to this week. I'm soo glad to get this one done. It should have been done months ago. I dont know why I have stitching a.d.d. and startitis,but I do.I start stuff and then I find or see something else that looks like a fun stitch and I kit it up and start and the rest is history. I know I'm not alone in this.lol.  Thanks for looking at my finish. I hope to have LHN loving you always finished tomorrow or by Sunday so I can send the pattern to Kim B ,she won my contest to receieve the pattern when I'm done with it and I still owe Ginny her pattern as well. I decided to start something"new"lol. I am now working on Winter Sampler by Little House Needleworks on mushroom fabric, so I dont have to worry about white linen getting dirty.lol. I will post a pic later today if time permits between work this afternoon and choir practice tonight.I got about half the gingerbread man stitched lastnight. Well I'm back to show you where I messed up

If you look closely at the pic(wip) you will notice that I stupidly added about 5 stitches going down the stem of the flower that are stitched in the red thread.The 5 red stitches arent the problem, the problem is I then added 5 more going down to start the lace like stitching at the bottom and sides of the chart. I have to either rip out the flower and leaves and start anew or rip out the lace like bottom or ditch the whole thing and start over. I have no idea what I want to do right now with it. I started a new pic though it is Whispered by the Wind's Scherzo. I will post a pic of that next.lol. Thanks for looking,Kimberly

Dont laugh too hard, but this afternoon it was raining here in TN and I was a little sleepy when I was stitching this afternoon and I fell asleep holding my cross stitch and some strings were dangling. I woke up when I was having my cat tugging on my piece trying to get my strings off. Thankfully I woke up when I did and the cat didnt hurt my stitching. It has been a long time since i fell asleep during the day, I guess I was tired.lol Here is the old doll. I will try to scan the rest of my wips soon.
